Dear Canucks of Movie Justice:

Do any of you know if the CBC series "Twitch City" has ever been available on video, either VHS or DVD? As far as I can tell it hasn't, but I'm hoping against hope maybe it's out there somewhere but of out print.

"Twitch City" starred Don McKellar, Molly Parker, Callum Keith Rennie and Daniel MacIvor, with special appearances by Bruce McCulloch and Mark McKinney. I really LOVE this little show. It only had thriteen total episodes, and they were all brilliant. U.S. Bravo ran them once in 2001 I believe, but they've disappeared since, and I only have about half of them taped. I would so very much like to get my hands on the entire series.

If any of you in The Great White North, or anywhere else for that matter, have any info on the show's availablity, please pass it along.

Thanks.

Still no sign of "Twitch City". Damn.

I'm hoping "Deadwood" becomes popular enough, and its DVD sales brisk enough, that whoever holds the rights to "Twitch" thinks the time will be ripe to capitalize on the interest in Molly Parker and release this show on DVD already. Maybe Neil LaBute's upcoming adaptation of The Wicker Man will be a big hit and that will generate the requisite interest in Molly? I honestly didn't think Kissed (1996) would make it to DVD before "Twitch City".
